This is one of the Matte Paintings I created for my 3D Matte Painting and Camera Mapping DVDs. I've created this and several other Matte Paintings for 3 DVDs in conjunction with The Gnomon Workshop. This is the second shot I completed for my Gnomon DVD entitled: Set Extensions and Lighting Effects. Adding almost all of the billboards and extending the main and left buildings in the scene I created this shot as an example of a feature film set extension. This is another matte painting that I created and used on 2 of my DVDs produced by The Gnomon Workshop. I painted this matte painting, modeled and lit the building in max, used some photo-reference and created the waterfalls with 3D particles. The foreground vegetation was created with Vue. All of it was composited in Shake.
