This is another matte painting that I created and used on 2 of my DVDs produced by The Gnomon Workshop. I painted this matte painting, modeled and lit the building in max, used some photo-reference and created the waterfalls with 3D particles. The foreground vegetation was created with Vue. All of it was composited in Shake. There are two versions of the final shot, one with a post camera push-in and the other is a 3D camera move utilizing camera mapping techniques in max.
